You can’t beat a flocked artificial Christmas tree for its magic!

Follow the steps below to flock your favorite Christmas tree or greenery and give it a snowy, dainty appearance this holiday:

Step 1: Prepare your Work Space

Make cleanup a breeze by covering your work surface with a drop cloth or plastic. If you’ll be applying flocking powder to your artificial Christmas tree or wreath, ensure that it’s in a well-ventilated area that’s free of keepsakes. Don’t flock your tree in a room that will be used right after; it will need time to dry.

Step 2: Protect tree Base

Wrap your tree base with plastic bag or sheeting to prevent it from becoming flocked. If you wish to give the artificial Christmas tree a fuller appearance, fluff up the branches. Be sure to fluff the tree before flocking it so that the powder falls on the right places.

Step 3: Spray Tree

Water the tree lightly with a spray bottle set to a mist. Take care not to overwater the branches. You want the faux snow to sit on top of the branches, so make sure they are well-misted.

Step 4: Apply Flocking

Fill a mesh wire sifter with flocking powder. For even distribution of powder on the branches, a sifter is preferable to using your hand.

Spread flocking powder over the tree branches, while holding a sifter above moist branches. A slight mist of water might be required as you go to make sure that the flocked Christmas tree is evenly white.

Step 5: Layer and Leave to Dry

Spray branches with flocking powder and sprinkle it more until they are covered. And then, spray water over the top again and allow it to dry. Depending on your preference, you can decorate tree with ornaments or twinkle lights.
